Taxi

  

Today I ventured into town by myself! After class I decided to buy a warmer jacket since mine aren't suitable for this cold! Fernando helped me with the bus, which we took into town. It only cost 2 pesos, which is very cheap for a bus ride. We went our seperate ways once we got to El Centro, and he was a little nervous about me being by myself. During the day, it's fine and it was nice walking around all of the shops alone! I bought a jacket for 120 pesos and two long sleeve shirts. I stopped in a bakery to get some goodies, and I was asked if I was from Germany. After the fun, I decided to hail a taxi (something I've NEVER done before) since it was getting late. I suck at it apparently. You really have to get your arm out there and wave it around like a maniac to get their attention. I got in, and 10 pesos later I was home. Now I'm drinking tea by the heater wearing my new jacket and planning an adventure tomorrow before class.
